Savile are a young, energetic 5 piece all male band based in the East Midlands. They perform rock and pop classics from the Rolling Stones to Mika with ease and versatility. Their tight 4 part harmonies and professional sound come with years of experience in the live music industry. Savile are an ideal act for weddings and parties and a DJ option is also available.

What Have They Done Before?

Savile is a collaboration of 5 exceptional musicians who have each been performing in a number of professional bands for many years.

Steve (lead vocals) has now been performing to live audiences for over 10 years and during this time has fronted many successful bands.

Martin (guitar and vocals) has gained experience fronting a semi-professional cover band for a number of years, as well as being busy writing his own material.

David (keyboards and vocals) trained as a classical pianist from age 12 and played in a number of successful covers bands prior to joining Savile.

Rick (bass and vocals) has been playing bass guitar at professional standard for over 8 years. During this time Rick has performed many styles from rock, funk, soul and more, demonstrating his exceptional abilities.

Danny (drums) has played drums since the age of 12 and has now developed a unique and exceptional style. Playing for the last few years with a number of local bands means Danny has great experience and is a highly versatile player, feeling right at home with any style of music.

What Sort of Music Do They Play?

Their varied set list caters for all ages and includes a mixture of 60's, 70's, indie and modern songs by The Beatles, Mika, The Rolling Stones, Dandy Warhols, Queen and many more! You can be absolutely sure that guests of all ages will be up dancing and singing all night.

What Will the Band Look Like?

The band can tailor their look to suit your needs on the night. They can dress formally or they can dress more casually if you prefer. Just specify your requirements and Savile will do their best to meet your needs.

Your Event

The band are able to provide a variety of music through the night, including a manned DJ between the live music, as well as the energetic live set itself, for which you can choose from 2 x 45 minute sets or 3 x 30 minute sets.

The DJ service includes a laptop (with vast amount of popular songs from all eras) plus a band member manning the laptop, making basic announcements (or remaining silent if preferred) and taking requests.

Savile are able to provide a "request service" (i.e. should a couple wish to have a certain song played on their special day, they are more than happy to add it to their set at no extra charge). Savile will require details of any special requests at least 8 weeks prior to the performance.

No gig is too big or too small and volume levels can be adjusted to suit your requirements.

Superior equipment

The band's show uses a 2000 watt full range 16 channel PA system at all performances, plus a complete lighting show including a smoke machine, 8 x par 56 cans & 2 x moving head lights, so you have full stage lighting as well as disco lighting for your dance floor.
